IVAN VIDAL GOMEZ
Geologist graduated from the Universidad de Concepción with more than twenty years of experience in Brownfield and Greenfield exploration in Cu – Au and Cu – Mo porphyry deposits, IOCG, Cu – Ag strata bound (three years in the Michilla Mining District and two years in the El Sauce Mining District, Cabildo) and intermediate and low sulfidation epithermal.
My story
High capacity for project generation and development, including using and programming geophysical and geochemical methods, surface geological mapping, execution – supervision, and mapping of diamond and reverse air drilling. Excellent working skills in multidisciplinary teams, ability to perform in adverse field conditions, and willingness to face new challenges. Safety and risk prevention leader with high motivation for health and community relations. The work experience has been acquired in its beginnings in interior mine works with geological mapping, sampling, modeling, etc., continuing with greenfield exploration in the coastal mountain range, intermediate depression, and Domeyko mountain range, mainly in junior companies. Additionally, I have worked for major companies such as Antofagasta Minerals, in charge of the Brownfield exploration team in the Centinela Mining District and Greenfield exploration in the Eocene - Oligocene Cu porphyry belt in the II Region, as well as in the El Salvador and El Teniente districts for Exploraciones Minera Andinas, a subsidiary of Codelco (National Corporation of Copper).
